Two Scoops our Luxury yacht
A Nautitech 46 fly. A 46 foot catamaran, built in 2019 with three double cabins, designed by Marc Lombard and Roseco Design as a perfect “all-rounder” and loaded with everything for luxury distance sailing, through performance sailing to leisurely and sedate evening cruises.
Nautitech have been much copied recently by other manufacturers, but none truly compare on an all round basis.
The benefits of having a dedicated crew
When it comes to private cruising, and that is just what this is, your own private yacht at your disposal. Our holiday experience will take you well beyond a bareboat charter with a skipper and a hostess.
We invite you to join us and receive the experience that we looked for from the sailing world and were never able to find.
We offer a 2019 built high quality yacht, equipped with all mod-cons, and a high degree of comfort. Don’t expect gold plated taps but they do all work! Our yacht is crewed by us all year round. Pam expects nothing but perfection when it comes to her housekeeping and the impression it gives when you first arrive aboard, is the way she keeps it all year round.
A full time and permanent crew means we understand the yacht intimately and we have detailed knowledge of our suggested sailing areas.
So, with that combination of crew you can expect amazing meals, great sailing in a friendly totally relaxed atmosphere with unlimited beverages. The table will be laid before you rise and a delicious breakfast will be freshly prepared according to your preferences. Lunch and dinner provided according to your mood for the day.
Your skipper will confirm the plan for the day and what you want to do on each of your precious and personal days aboard. We are quite used to changing plans from what people expect before they arrive to what they want to do when aboard. Quite often guests particularly like a cove or an area we have sailed too and want to spend more time there than was originally planned. That’s fine, we are happy to do that for you whenever possible.
Layout
Top deck
The fly-bridge model offers maximum visibility. You can keep an eye on everything from this comfortable vantage area and with enough room to seat 12 comfortably or 4 people lounging, and be at the very beating heart of the controls as this is also the location of the main helm-station. The fly-bridge has a bespoke Bimini (cover) where the optional side covers are normally furled away by your crew. There is a “beer and wine” fridge up here too, so keeping refreshed is no problem.
Intermediate deck
Two Scoops offers plenty of entertainment and lounging areas under cover. The huge forward salon, with its cushioned seating, three fridges, freezer, wine chiller, galley area, inside helm-station and chart table.
This opens up with double sliding doors to the main cockpit area where most meals are taken at the teak table, where you can comfortably seat 6 adults. This “indoor/outdoor” living on one level provides a large area ideal for just chilling out from your sunbathing and sipping your cocktails to watching the sun slowly sink beneath the horizon.
Between the two hulls for’ard (sailors term for the front of the yacht) are two large double cushioned sunbeds, fitted to the trampoline and ideal for soaking up the rays whilst watching the dolphins surf your bow waves.
Lower deck
These are your bedroom and bathroom areas.
To the port side (left when facing forward) is a large double cabin, the Captains cabin.
To the starboard side are two double cabins each with their own heads, (toilets), sinks, and handheld showers, and between the two is a “Jack-n-Jill” shower with a fixed shower.
All showers and sinks are hot and cold fresh water from our own water-maker if the 600 litre freshwater storage tanks get low.
All the comforts of home…….and more
Two Scoops is a motor sail yacht. She can run on her pair of 40HP inboard Volvo Penta diesel engines or be powered along by her furling Jib and in-mast furled mainsail with the addition of an impressive 117 square metre see through Code zero, (a downwind sail).
